This allows faster mana regeneration and doubles during active meditation.
leather armor has no meditation penalty
studded leather has partial meditation penalty
Wearing metal armor pieces or equipping weapons will not allow either passive or active meditation.
The faster your mana regenerates the quicker you can cast more spells.
